An Insight In Fastfood And Restaurants

The meal which is prepared in just a short period or the meal which can be prepared urgently in very short time is called fast food. Fast food is very popular these days especially in the young generation. This fast food is enjoyed all over the world by billions of people daily. The concept of fast food or precooked food available to sell is very ancient this was first introduced by the nomads of ancient Rome who used to sell cooked sausages and bread with wine in the streets of the urban developed city. Fast food is eaten all over the world but yet it is eaten more in Europe, Britain, America and other similar countries.

There are also many popular fast food restaurants in these countries. These restaurants were first established in these countries and after their popularity the owners begin to expand their business oversees and thus food chains of such restaurants were made. These restaurants KFC, McDonalds, AFC, Subway etc all of these restaurants have now developed their chains of restaurants in Pakistan. In these restaurants all the type of fast food is available. Most popular fast food among the teenagers of this century is Pizza, Burgers, Garlic bread, Garlic cheese bread, Shwarmas, Ice creams, nuggets, fried chicken, rolls, mashed potatoes, salads etc. These all fast foods are now available in Pakistan. 

The popularity of fast foods had increased so much that now almost all the filling stations, gas pumps, petrol pumps have one fast food restaurants so that the passengers can eat food from there. When one hears fast foods then he/she usually recalls traditional hamburgers, fries etc but nowadays cooks include readily prepared foods such as sushi fish etc some Chinese and Japanese food in this category of fast food by the meaning that food prepared instantly is fast food.

Many people join this field of fast food as a profession by becoming cooks and this business is becoming very popular in several countries. In these countries this business is very popular and billions and millions of dollars spend on this business every year, like according to a survey conducted in USA 110billion US dollars are spent on fast food every year and this amount is increasing year by year. There are many restaurant associations in these countries which control the quality and healthiness of food cooked in the restaurants of these countries.

This field is also a great medium of job for many people particularly in the above mentioned countries for example in USA after conducting a survey people came to know that 2.7 million people are related to this field of profession which is the 14% of the total population of the USA. Fast food is also under criticism. This criticism is due the fats present in them. The people are worried mainly about their kids that by eating this unhealthy high fat food their kids can be overweighed and thus can suffer from dangerous diseases.
